Welcome to the National Pan-Hellenic Council Washington, D.C

President's Greeting

Greetings Fraters and Sorors,

We made it! It is 2026, and we turn 80 this year! The foundation is set for us to accelerate our work in community service, education, and devotion to the principles and programs of the National Pan-Hellenic Council.

  • Service: We will continue partnering with community leaders to address food disparities and support physical and mental health initiatives.

  • Education: We will provide scholarships from high school through postgraduate studies and actively plan and implement civic engagement, social justice, and economic education for both youth and our members.

We remain the official District of Columbia Divine Nine organization—the Mecca Council of Black Greek Letter Organizations and the pinnacle of transformational change in our communities. We are honored to serve as collaborative servant leaders, motivating this work forward.

We look forward to engaging community leaders as transformational change agents who envision equity, respect, character, and love, and who stand united against discrimination, oppression, corruption, and hate.

Peace, Love, and Black Excellence
Frater Marvin Burton
