Greetings to all Fraters and Sorors of the National Pan-Hellenic Council of Washington, DC, and community that we serve:
We have entered another year of black excellence. Your devotion to our community through the devastating effects of Covid 19 solidified us as a resilient council, willing to persevere for humanity's mental, spiritual, and physical health and wellness. We are humbled to have another opportunity to showcase resolve by efficiently and collectively working to address African American challenges and celebrate our triumphs across generations.
As the first of the National Pan-Hellenic Councils, our role is paramount. It is essential for the respect garnered over our deeply rooted history to shine for all to see. We look to continue to advocate for the well-being of our community. In addition to advocating for the civil and equitable resolution of a wealth of social justice issues in education, housing, small business, family life, and government. We look to impact our community so that, in turn, our community may further empower us. Help us shake up the world by applying for our scholarships in both high school (Divine Nine) and post-secondary (Future Leaders), registering to vote and helping our of-age youth register and vote, attending our health fairs, welfare checks, and blood drive. By doing so, we can take care of each others' health and donating time and energy into supplying necessary items to the homeless, sheltered, economically oppressed, hungry, and depressed.
We are the official District of Columbia Divine Nine Organization, the center of Black Greek Letter Organizations and the pinnacle of transformational change. I am honored to be the collaborative servant leader motivating this change.
I look forward to imploring our community leaders to join me as transformational change agents who envision equity, respect, character, and love and defeat the corpse of thought that comes with discrimination, oppression, corruption, and hate.
Peace, Love, and Black Excellence.
